Recently PANDA returned from the ED Publications Gentlemen’s Club Expo in New Orleans! With the help of official PANDA Photographer David Heasley (@coverphoto) we were able to document what an incredible time we had. PANDA Party V Cocktail Hour
PANDA Party V kicked off with a cocktail hour which allowed everyone just flying into town to get reacquainted with old friends. The wall of sponsors allowed for a great photo opportunity, and Cloud 9 was there to help us get started in style.
The PANDA Awards hosted by Bobby Mac
The PANDA Awards show this year, at Masquerade in Harrah’s Casino in New Orleans, was hosted by the incredibly talented Bobby Mac. Throughout the evening we presented 6 different awards: PANDA Supporter of the Year, PANDA Favorite Showgirl, ED Outstanding DJ Achievement, PANDA Newcomers of the Year, PANDA DJ of the Year, and the Lifetime Achievement Award.
PANDA Party V performances by Reagan Reilly and Angela Sommers
As intermissions between performances we were lucky enough to host performances by both Reagan Reilly and Angela Sommers! Both are available to be booked through A-List Features and Continental Agency.
PANDA Bikini Contest
This year marked the first ever PANDA Bikini Contest! Open to any women within the industry, the prizes included $500, advertising here on pandamembers.org, and the cover of the upcoming PANDA Calendar for 2017. The contestants were introduced and then we set them free to gather as many beads from party attendees as they could! Andrew Kutz rocked the turntables, marking the beginning of a week full of fun old school hiphop tunes. The Bikini Contest was sponsored by Lacey Rain’s Feature University.
PANDA Booth Day 1
The PANDA Booth at Expo is always a base for interviews with industry professionals, but this year marked the preview of live streaming to PANDA Radio. The first day included a number of guests, including a representative from Virtual DJ, Ruby Ryder, Bob Chiappardi from Strip Joints, and a number of PANDA member DJs.
PANDA Member Meeting
The PANDA Member Meeting is a highlight of Expo each year. It offers the opportunity for anyone in the industry to stop in, interact with PANDA Board Members, and find out what is next for PANDA. There were a number of huge announcements this year that will be coming to newsletter subscribes soon!
Opening Night Party
The Opening Night Party at Republic NOLA was a fantastic time with a number of feature performances and award presentations. PANDA Board Member Ilan Fong was the recipient of ED’s DJ of the Year Award.
PANDA Booth Day 2
The PANDA Booth at Expo is always a base for interviews with industry professionals, but this year marked the preview of live streaming to PANDA Radio. Day 2 guests included Liza Lust, Angela Sommers, Gia Nova, and a number of other industry professionals.
Bowling
One of the final events of the Expo was bowling on Wednesday afternoon at Fulton Lanes. This was an addition to the schedule, but packed a lot of fun and socializing into the final day!
