The Professional Adult Nightclub DJ Association (P.A.N.D.A.)

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ilan Fong and I have been the Resident DJ at Kahoots in Columbus OH for the past 14+ years. Overall I’ve been DJing in the Adult Nightclub Industry for over 20 years and have DJ’d in Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Pittsburgh just to name a few of the different markets I’ve worked in. In February 2015, I was elected to the Board of Directors for the Professional Adult Nightclub DJ Association aka P.A.N.D.A.
What is P.A.N.D.A. you ask? P.A.N.D.A. is a group of over 650 Adult Nightclub DJ’s from around the country who have come together to improve the performance and reputation of DJs as integral players in the success of the Adult Nightclub Industry. This network of DJs is able to share resources, techniques, and experience to improve DJs of all experience levels and to work with Club Owners to improve individual businesses and club chains alike. We have a passion and creativity for this industry with the goal of staying on the cutting edge of club trends with innovative ideas to set the standard for what Adult Entertainment can be in the future.
We are not just here for the DJs. P.A.N.D.A. is focused on working with club owners, managers and entertainers to maximize the integrity, profitability and sustainability of our industry in a constantly shifting landscape. The first step to doing this is by setting a standard for what it means to be a P.A.N.D.A. DJ! Professionalism is a word we stress in all our discussions and it is an integral element in producing the most for your club. The next step is to continue to improve our relationship, communication and cooperation with Club Owners so that we can implement their business plans efficiently and with maximum profitability for all. Finally, we want to complement and enhance the Stars of our show, the ENTERTAINERS!
Some of the specific things we are able to offer to our DJs and our clubs include discounts to lighting and sound equipment, discounts to music services, tech-tips & DJ training via podcasts, and for the DJs a FB PANDA DJ FORUM. We have also launched PANDA Radio on Live365! The link can be found on our website pandamembers.org. The station emphasizes music where you can hear countdown shows of the top tracks being played in clubs around the country of nearly every genre of music and incredible DJ Mixes from the best in the business!
We can’t do this without all our DJs joining the party! To help spread the word we are hosting an Industry Mixer called PANDAMONIUM April 26 & 27, 2015 in beautiful Austin Texas! EVERYONE from our industry is invited!!! We will be giving seminars on Successful Personal Finances, How (as a DJ) To Create A Powerful Team in Your Club, and there will be an open Q & A with all attending P.A.N.D.A. Board Members. P.A.N.D.A. has a very strong Ohio base with 3 Board members now being from Ohio. It started with longest serving Ohio Board member DJ Danny Meyers from Dayton OH, and now includes myself, from Kahoots, and Joshua Lute, formerly from Vanity in Columbus, OH who’s now the Resident DJ at The Penthouse Club in Pittsburgh, PA. Ohio has always had a reputation for having some of the best clubs in the Industry. In fact, many of the best DJs in the most successful clubs in the country got their start in the Buckeye state!
